Ingredients:
Besan - 1 cup
Grated Paneer -1/2 cup
Tomato puree-1cup
Onion Paste-1 cup
Ginger Garlic paste-1tbsp
Greenchilli paste-1 tbsp
Garam masala-1/4 tbsp
Coriander powder-1 tbsp
cumin powder-1/2 tbsp
curds-2 tbsp
Red chilli powder-as per taste
salt as per taste
Turmeric powder-1/2 tbsp
coriander -for garnishing
water-1 cup
oil-2 tbsp
Description:
For Balls :
Knead a tough & tight portion of besan by adding sufficient water, salt.
Take a portion of it into your palm , flatten it and place a portion of paneer into it and close all the edges making it into a complete small ball.
Make all the balls as such . Place all the balls in a strainer or a cooker and steam them.
For Gravy :
Take a heavy bottomed pan, put 2 tbsp oil and fry the onion paste,until golden brown and put in the ginger garlic paste
Now pour in the tomato puree and cook for 2 mts.
once the tomato puree is done add the turmeric , red chilli ,salt, coriander powder and saute .pour in 1 cup of water and make a thick gravy add in curds as well.
now put the steamed balls into the gravy and saute for a minute.Add in the garam masala and garnish with coriander leaves before serving.
Calories:Not much of Fat as the balls are steamed.
